José María Romero Gordon is an industrial engineer within the Power Quality Department of ENDESA, the largest electric utility in Spain and part of the ENEL conglomerate. His expertise covers measurement, monitoring, and analysis of the whole range of power-quality disturbances. He received his Master of Science at the University of Seville, School of Engineering. Previously to his activities in ENDESA he had worked in the railway and mining sectors. He is also author of several patents about electrical protection systems.
